      SoundTrax 21 pin adapter

      This adapter make life easier to install a sound decoder if it has a factory installed 9 pin plug for a DCC. I had a 21 pin sound decoder I want to install in a tender I soldered the speaker and a no halt to the adapter. I plugged in the decoder and the loco plug and it was up and running.

      Very good choice to modify the 9 pin DCC Plug. The cost is very reasonable and the adapter allows you an array of functions such as control of lights (front and back, as well as the opportunity to add additional lights if you are so inclined), speaker functions and a current keeper connection. Pretty good for such a small inexpensive conversion.
