    The Tsunami 2 Steam is preloaded with the following prime mover sounds light steam, medium steam, heavy steam and gearded.

    With Tsunami2's adjustable steam cut-off you will feel like you are in the cab and in control. We have also added new and remastered sounds to add even more realism to your models. 

    Tusnami2 steam decoders can produce over 50 sound effects including 12 bells, 90 whistles, 10 air pumps, 8 dynamos, 10 exhaust chuffs, snifter valve, injectors, Johnson Bar, power reverse, firebox blower, side rod clank, brake squeal, and more!

      Dead simple install, reliable product

      I purchased this TSU2200 and the separately pitched Current Keeper for a Genesis Mikado from years ago. The beauty behind these decoders is their dead simple simplicity, simply peel back the heat shrink around the ends; the wires are attached via the same 9pin JST plug included on every Athearn DCC Ready locomotive from that time, so it’s only a matter of minutes plugging a top quality decoder into the plug, plugging in the two pin Current Keeper into the plug on the other end, and soldering the two speaker wires included to the speaker. If you don’t do what I did and accidentally break a wire between engine and tender the entire install is less than 10 minutes, including the time it takes to heat your soldering iron up. And all this for a top shelf decoder with plenty of options. Maybe too many options.

      My favorite for STEAM, these are my go to now. Great sound with cube speakers. I will be installing more soon.

      Bought this to replace the decoder package of a non-working MTH Challenger. Installation was straightforward and completed it in about an hour. Runs great and sounds great. Really like all of the sound options!

      This decoder is awesome for aPBL K-27 or other larger locomotive where you have room for it.

      I purchased one of these decoders to install in my Tenshodo Consolidation. Unfortunately the decoded decided to self-destruct while I was testing it. SoundTraxx replaced the decoder with no hassle and the new one works great! Great steam sound and very configurable!
