The TSU-KN1 is our first plug and play Tsunami2 N-Scale decoder. Finally, N-Scale modelers can get the Tsunami2 features they have been wanting in their N-Scale locomotives! We are excited to introduce a Plug and Play, Tsunami2, N-Scale decoder and installation kit. The new TSU-KN1 is designed to fit into Kato N-Scale E, F-units, F40PH, PA and P42 locomotives. Prime mover selections for all of these models are packed into this one tiny decoder! Get an easy install, amazingly realistic sounds, plus the features that all Tsunami2 decoders have to offer.
Complete Installation Kit
The TSU-KN1 comes with a complete installation kit ensuring an easy install. Also note that the TSU-KN1 is designed with 4 LED friendly outputs making external resistors unnecessary!

Soundtraxx TSU-KN1
The installation of the decoder and the speaker is fairly straightforward in N-Scale Kato F units. Installation in Kato E8s, however, do require some machining to create a pocket for the speaker. The KN1 kit is very good for the price since it comes with everything to include the decoder, 2 each LEDs, speaker plus the associated speaker wire, and speaker housings/baffles. I will be converting more of my Kato engines to this decoder.
