      This is a good decoder, although I did have some difficulty on some Atlas engines getting everything to connect. The price is good and once you get the locomotive programmed, it performs very well. I gave this a 4 because of a few installation problems.

      Purchased for an Atlas N scale GP38. Installed in a few minutes, programmed and up and running. Very easy to work with and shipping was fast.

      Digitrax DN163A0 DCC N-scale Decoder

      This DCC decoder is a relatively easy replacement for the light board on a range of locomotives. I used it for an Atlas FM H24-66 Trainmaster model. Follow the instructions and it works very well. Much easier than having to solder wires. Runs smoothly.

      Another in the great Digitrax line of decoders. But the documentation is lacking. This decoder does NOT fit newer GP40s or 38-2s and probably others. Check the profile of your OEM board. Instead of this decoder, I needed a DN166I3 for my Atlas GP40.
