52'6" Greenville 2494 Mill Gondola - Ready to Run -- Wisconsin Central Rd# 54214 N Scale

This 52’ 6” mill gondola was built in 1995 to a design very similar to Trailer Train’s GONX gondolas. The cars were built to be heavy-duty and long lasting, carrying steel ingots, scrap steel and coiled steel. Wisconsin Central Ltd. started operations in the mid-1980s, and became a subsidiary of Canadian National in 2001. It was based on the original Wisconsin Central founded in 1897 that was merged into the Soo Line in 1961.
