This decoder is designed specifically to meet the needs of LifeLike Proto 2000 HO-Scale models. This decoder has a built-in circuit for use with LED's for the forward and reverse headlights. You must use external resistors on this decoder allow for LED installations for F1 through F6. Use the standard LL8 decoder if your locomotive uses incandescent 1.5V bulbs for the forward and reverse headlights.
